Residents of  the Portland Infirmary in Port Antonio were the beneficiaries of a variety of gifts donated by a team from Cari-med Limited last Friday.

Matron at the infirmary, Sharon Burke lauded the efforts of the Cari-Med team, who has been donating gifts to the state-run facility for approximately four years.

“We are thankful and grateful. We eagerly look forward to Cari-med’s coming round about this time of year. They have basically adopted this facility and its residents, and in doing so, they have made this into an annual treat.”

The Cari-med team donated wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, pharmaceutical items, toiletries, along with a freezer, as part of their pre-Christmas donation to the facility.
